Moving from NAV to Business Central SaaS.

Microsoft's cloud-upgrade tool covers the technical lift — chart of accounts, customer and vendor masters, items, open transactions, historical balances. What it does not cover is the work that actually decides whether the upgrade lands cleanly: dimension redesign, posting group hygiene, role permission re-modelling, custom C/AL → AL extension porting and the AppSource swap for third-party add-ons that have BC-native equivalents.

Novasoft has run live migrations from NAV 2013, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018, Dynamics GP and Dynamics SL — including hybrid setups where part of the estate has to keep running on-premises until the next financial year-end.
