4. Scope

5. Quality

Defect density per workstream. UAT cycles required. Production incidents post-go-live. Adherence to Microsoft and LS Retail extension-development best practice (no over-customisation).

6. Risk

Open risks by severity. Mitigation plans tested in practice. Single-points-of-failure (a sole consultant who knows the code). Vendor-lock risk on custom code that cannot be re-deployed.

When should I request a Project Efficacy Check?

Three trigger conditions: a missed milestone by more than two weeks; budget exceeded by 10% or more; steering committee or board has lost confidence in the current delivery partner.

What does the written scorecard contain?
