- How many ERP users in three years? Under 250 → Business Central. Over 250 → Finance + SCM. Crossover cases go to BC first.
- How complex is your manufacturing or warehousing? Simple BOMs → BC; multi-site MRPII, advanced WMS → F&O. Mid complexity often handled by BC + NOVAPROD.
- How much in-house ERP capability do you have? A lean IT team with no Dynamics depth → BC. A team comfortable maintaining the platform → F&O is feasible.
